I know I’m not old but…
amen to that.
In class today, my professor puts in some old documentary from PBS and says, “This is about 25 years old or so but still very valid…”. I think immediately, “25 years old, so late 70’s, look how bad the video quality is, haha.” Yeah, no… I’m 25. So 25 years ago was 1983, in my head it’s still about 2001 when I graduated from high school. When someone says something was 30 years ago, I think they have to be talking about the 60’s not the 70’s and certainly not the 80’s which in 2 years will be 30 years ago. Is this how the rest of my life is going to be? Scary!
